The Enfer du Nord (Est) is what happens when you take elements from all of the Spring Classics, but apply them to the area close to Gravel Union Towers in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. We took inspiration from the pavé of Paris-Roubaix, the short sharp climbs of the Tour of Flanders, the gravel trails of the Strada Bianche and the crappy tarmac of Gent-Wevelgem and blended them together to form the perfect route. The highlight of the ride wasn’t the parcours itself though, it was the great company and the sense of achievement when we safely arrived as a group at the finish line.
