Bombtrack’s 2021 gravel bike range is so new, they haven’t even updated their website yet! Luckily, they sent us in a launch video along with the details of the new range:
The Hook is Bombtrack’s steel-framed/carbon-forked gravel bike offering and for 2021 will come equipped with Shimano GRX400 componentry. The frame/fork have sufficient clearance for a 42mm width 700c tyre (or the same width of 650B tyre for anyone keen to run smaller wheels). The bike is kitted out with mounts for top tube ‘bento box’ style bag, 3 x bottle cages, rear pannier rack, 2 x fork mounts for load cages and mudguard mounts for the frame and fork, the Hook should be well equipped enough for everything from a multi-day gravel trip up the length of the Andes to a quick jaunt your local supermarket.
For the 2021 Hook model, the frame is constructed from double-butted Columbus Cromor tubing and has a T47 threaded bottom bracket shell.
