Use your gravel bike as it’s designed for and ride everything! Go out and explore your local area and see what gravelly gems are hidden just down that alleyway, or beyond that hedge or in that little patch of woods that you’ve never explored before.

We recommend you plan your route using komoot. The komoot app can help you find new gravel trails to ride on that you might not even know exist!

The event is going to be held over the weekend of 29th-30th May. Your route can be as long and challenging as you like.

We’ve tried to make the competition as simple to enter and as easy to take part in as possible, but there are some rules you will need to follow:

  • You will need to be a member of the Gravel Union. It’s free and you can sign up here if you’re not already a member.
  • Once you’ve signed up to Gravel Union, or if you are a member already, you will receive an email about the Doorstep Challenge. In this email you will find a ‘one click’ link to pre-register.
  • Click on the link to pre-register and we will then send you all the details of the event, plus a copy of the Doorstep Challenge brevet card, which is your key to winning the Canyon Grizl CF SL 6 bike.

There will be spot prizes from our lovely sponsors and a grand prize of the newly launched Canyon Grizl CF SL 6 gravel bike fitted with a Shimano GRX groupset. We’re going to feature the highlights of the event in a story on the Gravel Union website, so you might win a fantastic new bike AND get your 15 minutes of fame.
